Torcomp Announces 1st Annual Summer CAD Camp

Torcomp, Inc is now offering a CAD Camp Conference that will provide a hands-on-training experience for educators.

Sanborn, NY -- (ReleaseWire) -- 05/16/2006 --Torcomp, Inc. announced today that the First Annual Torcomp Summer CAD Camp Conference for Educators will be held at Springfield Technical Community College in Springfield, Massachusetts on August 22, 23, and 24, 2006. This summer’s CAD Camp will offer educators three days of training seminars using the successful Autodesk Instructor Development Program (AIDP) for several of the top Autodesk CAD programs including Inventor Professional, Revit Building, Architectural Desktop, and AutoCAD. A course will also be offered on 3ds Max, the Autodesk Media and Entertainment Division’s flagship product for 3D animation for film and video special effects, game development and visual simulation. Courses will also be offered for the Autodesk Design Academy curriculum and the Autodesk Animation Academy which are special software and curriculum bundles offered to secondary schools. Each attendee will receive a free not-for-resale copy of the product for which they have trained.

The cost for attendance at the Conference is $99 per day. Attendees may sign up for as many days as they choose. Additionally, attendees will receive a free copy of the software program for which they are attending.

These hands-on-training courses are specifically developed for educators. The Torcomp CAD Camp Conference will not only aim to further enhance the instructors’ knowledge of Autodesk products, but will include both instructor demonstrations and student exercises at multiple levels, with the goal of further enriching classroom time, as well.
