Downer & Company, an international investment banking firm specializing in mid-market cross-border acquisition and divestiture advisory services, is pleased to announce that Wellman, Inc., has sold Wellman International Limited (“WIL”)–its European fibers and recycling businesses–to Aurelius AG of Germany for $38 million. Downer & Company acted as sole financial advisor to Wellman on this transaction which closed on July 26, 2007.
