"Raging Hormones", the independent film comedy, produced by Thrill Street Entertainment, Inc., (www.RagingHormonesMovie.com) won "Best Feature" in the First Annual L-Dub Film Festival in Lake Worth, Florida. The "coming-of-age" comedy faced extremely tough competition against some wonderful feature films that were screened at the festival, and edged them out for "Best Feature" by a very narrow margin.

At the 2008 Pi Gamma Mu triennial international convention held in Atlanta, Ga., Eric Knutson was elected by students from colleges and universities across the United States to be the honor society’s “shadow president.” Pi Gamma Mu believes that students and government benefit when students are more involved in democracy. Eric, as shadow president, was given the responsibility to evaluate the new president’s activities and give him policy advice. Originally from Schuyler, Neb., Eric graduated with a B.S. in History, summa cum laude, from Wayne State College in Wayne, Neb., in May, 2009. He is currently in his second year at the University of Nebraska College of Law. This past summer, he clerked for the office of the Nebraska Attorney General in the Criminal Appeals Department.

Pop singer/songwriter Julien Drolon released his debut single "Peace Through Music" as well as the video to accompany the track today September 21st. The date of the release coincides with the International Day of Peace. This day is dedicated to peace, or specifically the absence of war, such as a temporary ceasefire in a combat zone. "Peace Through Music" is the lead single from Julien's upcoming album Time For Peace, which is expected to be released in March 2011.

Pop singer/songwriter Julien Drolon has a message of peace for the world, and he's expressing it through his music. Drolon will perform on September 18th as part of the EarthDance Global Festival For Peace, the world's largest synchronized music and dance festival for peace. He will perform his debut single "Peace Through Music" among other songs at the event. EarthDance has been held annually in over 500 locations in 80 countries with all events simultaneously joining together in the Prayer for Peace.

Few people realize that in addition to being a respected journalist and media personality, Martin Bashir also plays bass reggae. The 'Dateline' contributor and MSNBC afternoon anchor, has been working on his upcoming 14 song reggae album called "Bass Lion." Produced Cary Haase and mixed by Marilyn Music's Casey Conrad, the album is slated for Fall 2010 independent release. Mixed in August at Headman's Studios, "Bass Lion" offers a combination of traditional and contemporary Jamaican music, with all 14 tracks having been recorded in Jamaica. Selected songs from the album will be used in his upcoming daily hourly investigative reporting show on MSNBC.
