Scott Stone, Director of Marketing for Cisco-Eagle, Inc., a Hytrol Integration Partner discussed simple conveyor application rules for optimal performance. Stone explained when considering new solutions for material handling challenges, there can be an overwhelming number of options and potential vendors, technologies, or equipment types. Finding the right solution for specific needs is imperative to achieve optimal performance.

The current issue of Occupational Health & Safety magazine features Ed Brown (founder of Topper Industrial) who is considered the father of the North American fork truck free (FTF) movement. Hytrol recently announced Justin Ray as the new Systems Engineering Facilitator. This is a new position that will aid the Systems Department and Hytrol's Integration Partners with planning and implementation of projects.

Orbital Energy Services, a leading independent provider of specialty machining, welding, parts manufacturing, steam valve repair, and steam turbine repair, has consolidated Midwest operations in Pevely, Missouri. With this consolidation, the Orbital Energy Services field machining business, formerly based in Roscoe, IL, has been fully relocated and is now co-located with Orbital's steam turbine repair center of excellence in Pevely. The consolidated operation is now led by industry veteran Mike Bruton, Vice President – Midwest Operations.
