International arts charity MMBF Trust has completed another record breaking year ensuring that they made their mark by distributing 312 grants and scholarships and working with over 60 partner organisations across the world to deliver their arts and film support programmes.

American Children's Society, Inc. is a non-profit organization with a 501(c)3 classification from the IRS. They raise money by facilitating car, boat, and RV donations. Proceeds from the donations are then used to help kids that are suffering from cancer and life-threatening diseases. Their 24/7/365 hours makes it easy for impulse donors to get a hold of them simply by calling a toll-free number (1-800-380-4380). American Children's Society accepts automotive donations in any condition. From broken down cars and motorcycles to boats and trucks, the non-profit organization will arrange a pickup service that includes dropping off forms that allow donors to get tax deductions from the IRS.

Dino Impagliazzo, an 86-year-old retired company director, feeds more than 250 people per day for free thanks to unsold or almost expired food products, which he receives for free from stores, supermarkets, or large-scale distributors. An act of charity for the needy and an incentive for people and businesses not to waste food.

The Isabella Santos Foundation is on a mission to rid the world of cancer for good. That was the goal and wish of the brave child that the foundation was started for - Isabella Santos. For almost five years, this little girl defied the odds and battled hard against the disease. Unfortunately, her fight against cancer ended on June 28, 2012. This non-profit organization for children will continue to fight the disease in her honor and for all of the other kids who are battling Neuroblastoma. With last year's event being such a success, the Isabella Santos Foundation has recently announced the date for their 10th Annual Fun Run, which will be Saturday, September 30, 2017.

Habitat for Humanity of Teller County (Habitat) announced today the award of 4 grants totaling more than $50,000. These new grants were awarded to the Teller County office to be used in assisting families to find affordable housing options.

Rocky Mountain Performance Excellence (RMPEx), a 501C(3) organization serving as the regional organization for the Malcolm Baldrige Performance Excellence Program, has named three organizations as 2016 recipients of performance excellence awards One organization was recognized at the Peak level, the highest level award for RMPEx. Two organization was recognized at the Timberline level for mature processes for the overall performance excellence requirements.

The new hires are Susan Cummings, Home Owner Services Coordinator; Karen Fay, Financial Coordinator; Violet Hanratty, Volunteer Coordinator and Colleen Urffer, Resource Development Coordinator.

Bonezdagoat & The Local Brand present "The Hand of a Leader Tour," which focuses on giving back to the homeless across the State of Florida. The tour will run from December 4-10, 2016. A variety of hair professionals will travel throughout the state cutting hair for the homeless alongside barber Corey Sturkey, "BONEZ DA GOAT." Throughout the Hand of a Leader tour, clothing and food will also be donated to individuals in need during this special event.
