Hurricane Sandy landed in the Tri-State area on October 29, 2012, and the rest is history. As a result of Hurricane Sandy and its impact on the families in the Tri-State area, Bow Tie Portraits created The Rebuilding Memories Project (TRMP). Many families lost precious photos or their photos were damaged in the storm. The Rebuilding Memories Project is partnering with local organizations, groups, houses of worship, volunteers and other photographers to help families continue to rebuild their lives by restoring damaged photographs or allowing families to take new photographs.

The Stress Relievers, a group made up of 5 local businesses, is hosting a happy hour this month at Maguires Hill 16.  The event serves as their August Happy Hour and will also benefit local school children in Broward County.  Property managers and board members can attend the event on August 13, from 5:30-7:30 at Maguires Hill 16.  Stress Relievers asks that attendees bring school supplies or a backpack for children in need.
