UnWine’d Wine Bar, a European style café, has announced its opening in Olde Cary Commons in the heart of downtown Cary at 201 W. Chatham St., Suite 103. UnWine’d features an Italian style café menu and a large selection of wine by the glass and bottle. The establishment has two sections, a front bar which features live jazz music every Friday night from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., and a back bar, where guests can enjoy more lively conversation and television. Free wine tastings are available Thursday nights from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The wine bar is open Monday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to midnight.

Keeping in line with Rocky Top Hospitality’s focus on fresh, local ingredients, the restaurant combines the concept of a modern American grill with family style portions, and a menu inspired by American diners, delis and traditional comfort foods. Rockwell’s provides customers with reasonably priced meal selections from $5-$19, breakfast all day and an outdoor patio which seats more than 100 guests. The buffet includes omelets, steak and eggs, short ribs and grits, and French toast and pancakes. Children can enjoy pancakes and fruit, French toast and sweet potato waffle fries, and a ham and cheese omelet with hash browns. Located at 510 Glenwood Ave., The Red Room Tapas Lounge will offer a farewell menu that includes shrimp ceviche for an appetizer; choice of lobster and arugula salad or crispy duck confit salad; entrées including grilled filet mignon, pan seared scallops and crab stuffed flounder; and desserts including chocolate hazelnut cheesecake and lemon poppyseed pound cake.
